Cubic Nomad – proudly not fulfilling your expectations since 2010. And this EP makes no difference: While “A Girl called River” and “I could not stop it” fall into the category of rhythmic industrial/techno crossover tracks with cheeky hooks that CN has done before, “She dances with me” culls from 90s dance music, with an addictive trance hook and vintage vocal sample; “And sings the tune without words” works along the same lines. Dancing with the Birds, careless and free, a purist’s nightmare, but pure joy for the open-minded!
